Happy 2012! I hope everyone enjoyed the break and is as excited as I am about the upcoming volleyball season. A couple quick reminders…

This Saturday, January 21^st is the last day you can join DIVA for the spring at the low rate of just $100. Pay online at divadallas.org through PayPal, at one of the New Member Clinics (tonight at Polk or Saturday afternoon at Reverchon), or tomorrow night at the Spring Season Mixer at Woody’s…

Speaking of which I’m officially inviting everyone out for a Volleyball Mixer to kick off the spring season. Woody’s is the place to be tomorrow (Friday, January 20^th) after work from 6-8 pm. Stop by to mingle with new and returning members and enjoy some light snacks and drink specials. You can also pay your dues before they go up to $120 Saturday night.

Things really get busy next weekend. The Open Play at Advantage Sports is next Friday, January 27^th. Watch the website for more information regarding play times for each division. Next Friday is also the last day you can pay for the season to be a part of the spring season draft. The Draft and Draft Party will take place on Sunday, January 29^th. Plan on stopping by Woody’s after 5:00 pm to see which team you’re on and party with the rest of the league.
